LinkedIn is the world’s largest platform for all employees and employers globally, and it is completely free to use. All former, current, and potential employees of a certain organization have equal access to this networking platform, and they are linked to one another discreetly.

If a prospective employee contacts a former employee of a specific organization and the former disgruntled employee provides negative information about his/her ex-organization, prospective good employees will not join that organization, even after accepting an offer letter, resulting in a significant financial, time, and reputational loss for that specific organization.

It has a significant impact on employer branding – a must-do activity for organizations.

Because of the code of conduct, existing employees do not speak badly about the current organization.

And that is why employee separation has to be amicable – at any cost.
