MIT Economics and Talent Forum (MIT ETF), previously known as "MIT Talent Forum", was founded in 2001. It is a non-profit organization established by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic Asian students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and working professionals in Great Boston area. As the earliest non-profit organization interested in the research of economy of the Asia-Pacific region as well as talent exchange between the Asia-Pacific and U.S., MIT Economics and Talent Forum aims to
stimulating and fostering communication and collaboration between the Asia-Pacific region and US enterprises, government agencies, universities and research institutions.

Since founded in 2001, MIT Economics and Talent Forum has been assisting the enterprises and organizations in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific regions, as well as overseas Asian students and working professionals through hosting a series of annual conferences, career fairs, business visits, seminar series and consultant services.
Conference
The annual conference addresses global economic, technological
and social development trends and the opportunities and challenges
they bring to people interested in the Asia-Pacific area.

Career Fair
The annual career fair serves as a platform for Employers,
university
students, and working professionals. Since 2001, career
fairs have
tremendously helped many enterprises, government agencies,
universities and institutions to explore the market of
talent in
North-East America; and meanwhile aided university students
and
working professionals to seek the best development
opportunities not
only in the U.S. but also in the Asia-Pacific region.

Seminar Series
The seminar series invites business and government leaders
and academic scholars to conduct lectures and Q&A sessions
on Asian topics on the MIT campus. The seminar series has
established its reputation and attracted a sizeable audience
from the Greater Boston area, and from as far as California,
Michigan and other places in the United States.
